Does Coflyt work for Part 141 schools?
Coflyt is built for Part 61 schools and independent CFIs — scheduling, billing, and airworthiness tracking. It doesn't include Part 141 recordkeeping like TCO-based training records, so a 141 program would still keep those separately.
Can I see what each instructor earned?
Every instruction charge is itemized against the instructor who flew it, at the rate locked in when the lesson was billed. That gives you a clean per-instructor record of instruction billed for any period — no reconstructing it from a paper schedule.
How do students pay?
Students see their balance in the app and pay it by card through Stripe — funds land in your account through Stripe Connect. You can also require a stored payment method before a student can book, and charge late-cancel fees automatically.
We already have a schedule. How do we switch?
Type each N-number and Coflyt sets the aircraft up from the FAA registry in minutes. Instructors enter their weekly availability once, you add any upcoming reservations, and everyone can subscribe to the schedule from their own calendar via iCal. We suggest running both systems for a week — most people stop opening the old one.
