Fleet math

10 aircraft on Coflyt Plus ≈ $11 per aircraft per month

Additional aircraft don’t pay the full rate — only the first one does. On annual billing, a ten-plane club runs its whole operation — scheduling, billing, maintenance tracking, and payments — for about what one fill-up of avgas costs.

First aircraft (Plus, annual)$430
+ 9 additional × $100/yr$900
= per year, whole fleet$1,330
÷ 12 mo ÷ 10 aircraft≈ $11.08
per aircraft, per month

Why the plans split the way they do

No pricing tricks to decode — here’s the reasoning, up front.

Why scheduling and payments live on Plus

Reservations, flight billing, and member payments are multi-member features — you can’t double-book an airplane you’re the only one flying. Keeping them on Plus is what keeps the solo plan at $24.

What the +$10 aircraft add-on covers

Not just a row in a list. Every added airframe gets its own inspections, ADs, squawks, logbooks, calendar, and billing rates — full tracking, at a fraction of the first aircraft’s price.

Why members are free

Per-seat pricing punishes the thing that makes group ownership work: more members sharing the costs. On Plus, your bill is set by your aircraft count — grow the roster and the per-member cost only drops.

The other option is free

Most groups don’t come to Coflyt from another app — they come from a spreadsheet and a group text. Free has a cost; it’s just paid in hours instead of dollars.

The spreadsheet Coflyt Plus
Sticker price $0 From $43/mo for the whole group
Due dates Somebody has to remember to check — annuals and ADs slip through Counted down automatically from hours, calendar time, and cycles
Collecting money You chase checks and payment apps after every flight Every flight is billed from Hobbs or tach; members pay their balance in-app
Double bookings A group text and good intentions Blocked before they happen, with maintenance days protected too
The treasurer’s evenings Spent reconciling the spreadsheet Spent flying

Pricing questions, answered plainly

What do I get in the 30-day free trial?

The full plan you pick — every feature, no reduced version — for 30 days on any tier. [CONFIRM: is a card required at signup? Describe honestly either way.]

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Start solo on Coflyt and move to Plus when you take on a partner, or step up to Business when a larger aircraft joins the fleet. Your aircraft, records, and history come with you — nothing to re-enter.

How does adding aircraft work?

Each additional aircraft is $10/mo or $100/yr on Coflyt and Coflyt Plus ($120/mo on Business). Every airframe gets its own full tracking — inspections, ADs, squawks, logbooks, calendar, and billing.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time from your account settings — no phone call, no retention script. Your records are yours: export your logs and maintenance history whenever you like. [CONFIRM: exact cancellation flow.]

We have 22 members — what does that cost?

The same as 2 members. Coflyt Plus includes unlimited members, so the price is set by your aircraft count, not your roster. A one-aircraft club with 22 members pays $43/mo — under $2 per member.

Thirty days free — the airplane decides if it stays

Type your N-number, and Coflyt sets up your aircraft from the FAA registry. Every plan, every feature, free for 30 days.
