Structure without becoming a club
Two to six names on the airplane, one agreement between friends. Coflyt splits the costs the way your agreement says, keeps the calendar fair, and does the bookkeeping — so the partnership stays about flying, not admin.
$43/mo covers the whole partnership — unlimited partners, one aircraft. iPhone · Android · Web.
The end of the awkward money conversation
Nobody buys into a partnership to argue about fuel receipts. Put your agreement into Coflyt once, and every dollar lands where it belongs — automatically, visibly, every month.
Split per your agreement
Fixed and variable costs split separately, category by category. Hangar and insurance by ownership share, engine reserves by the hour — whatever you agreed over the handshake, the app carries out.
Every flight logged is a flight billed
Land, enter Hobbs or tach on your phone, done. The partner who flew is charged at your rate — no honor-system envelope in the hangar, no end-of-month reconstruction from memory.
Balances that settle themselves
Each partner sees exactly what they owe and taps Pay Balance — funds arrive through Stripe. Nobody plays treasurer, and nobody chases a check across the ramp.
How a month actually splits
Say you're a three-partner 182: $120/hr wet for time flown, fixed costs split evenly. Sarah flies 1.8 on the Hobbs one Saturday. Here's the month — and nobody opened a spreadsheet.
- Variable costs follow the flying. Sarah's 1.8 hours bill to Sarah, the moment she logs them.
- Fixed costs follow the agreement. Hangar, insurance, and reserves divide three ways on their own.
- Everyone sees the same numbers. Live balances, every charge itemized — nothing to dispute in the group text.
Your rates, your categories, your split — this is just an example month.
See your own month split this way — it takes your agreement, not a spreadsheet.

Every partnership knows the pattern: one partner ends up keeping the books, chasing payments, and refereeing the calendar — until they burn out. In Coflyt, the app is the referee, and the rules you agreed to enforce themselves.
- Billing runs itself. Log the flight, the charge posts. No monthly invoice night at anyone's kitchen table.
- Rules without a rule-enforcer. Advance windows, reservation caps, minimum balances, and late-cancel fees apply to everyone — evenly, automatically.
- Due dates track themselves. Annual, 100-hour, oil changes, and ADs counted down from hours, calendar time, and cycles as the plane flies.
- Payments collect themselves. Balances settle in-app through Stripe — the money conversation never has to happen out loud.
One calendar, zero double-bookings
No more group texts to claim a Saturday, and no more driving to the airport to find the plane gone — or grounded.
- Double-booking is impossible. One shared calendar, and a slot taken is a slot taken — for everyone, on every device.
- Maintenance blocks the schedule. The annual holds its dates on the calendar, so nobody plans a trip around an airplane that's in pieces.
- Status before you drive. Squawks with photos and severity, and a grounding flag every partner sees the moment it's set.
- It lives in your calendar too. iCal feeds put the plane's schedule next to your own.
Records that protect the airplane's value
A partnership airplane changes hands more often than a solo-owned one — a partner sells, a new one buys in, someday the whole plane sells. Complete, trustworthy records are what keep every one of those transactions easy.
- Signature-locked logbooks. Digitally signed, tamper-evident maintenance records — a paper trail buyers and IAs can trust.
- ADs imported automatically. Applicable airworthiness directives flow into your tracking with compliance recorded against them.
- Engine and component times. Time-in-service and TBO tracked per component, so "where's the engine at?" always has an exact answer.
- Trends that catch problems early. Fuel and oil consumption plotted over time — the cheap warning before the expensive one.
Partnership questions, answered
Can we set our own scheduling rules?
Yes. Set an advance booking window, a cap on future reservations per partner, a minimum balance to book, a stored payment method requirement, and late-cancel fees. Maintenance blocks keep the plane un-bookable during the annual. The app enforces the rules — no partner has to.
Our shares aren't equal. Can cost splitting handle that?
Yes. Splitting is set per category, so fixed costs like hangar and insurance can follow your ownership percentages — 50/25/25, or whatever your agreement says — while variable costs bill to whoever flew, at Hobbs or tach.
What happens when a partner sells their share?
Their balance settles in-app before they go, you remove them, and the incoming partner joins in minutes — seats are unlimited, so pricing doesn't change. The records stay with the airplane: flights, inspections, ADs, and digitally signed logbook entries, complete and exportable.
Does it work with ForeFlight?
Yes — flights sync from ForeFlight automatically, and AirSync can send flight data straight from the panel minutes after shutdown. Times land in Coflyt, inspections count down, and billing runs without anyone typing numbers off a kneeboard.
